Design and develop high quality hospitality projects with both the furniture, fixtures, & equipment (FF&E) and construction documents. The detailed job duties include:

• Create detailed designs through space plans, color elevations, color elevations, sketches, and materials in order to study and communicate design concepts and specifications;

• Coordinate with outside consultants, vendors, and architects to obtain samples, develop construction sets for final fabrication, and select finishes and furniture throughout all project phases;
• Design interior spaces, select materials and colors, and study the design in 3D program; As part of a team, create interior design presentations to present designs for approval;
• Review architect drawings, shop drawings, and submittals to ensure design goal and requirements are met;
• Produce schedules for material, plumbing fixtures, hardware and lighting;
• Participate in meetings for detailed progress reports for each project, and ensure project deliverables.

Requirements:

• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design related field;

• Minimum five years of interior design experience;

• Demonstrated skills/knowledge of AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop, including layering, FTP coordination, rendering, and 3-D applications, SketchUp, Blue Beam, Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign and Photoshop) is required.
